about Raw Honey
"Totally Raw Honey" has
been carefully extracted from the honeycomb using centrifugal
force. The honey is allowed to fall freely from the
extractor directly into the bottle. We use no heat,
filters or strainers while bottling "Totally
Raw Honey". There may be pieces of bee
pollen, propolis and honeycomb on the top of the
jar. All of this is nutritious. In the event that there
is not much visible on the top, there are still pieces
of pollen, propolis and
honeycomb suspended in the honey, so you get truly "Totally
Raw Honey" in every spoonful.
Un-heated, un-filtered honey, Raw Honey
with all of the enzymes intact; raw honey is a medical
marvel as well as a culinary delight. Totally Raw honey
is simply spun out of the honeycomb and allowed to crystallize
naturally. May be used for all honey needs or as a sugar
substitute.
Raw honey has been used for centuries
for its healing properties and can address multiple
issues:
Taking raw honey is a healthy way
to get an energy boost. Its carbohydrates supply us
with energy and strength. Raw honey can boost your endurance
and reduce muscle fatigue. Raw honey has also been used
as a home remedy for centuries to help alleviate some
of the symptoms associated with the common cold.
If you have allergies, raw honey can be
beneficial. If you eat honey that is local to your area,
it may help prevent your seasonal allergies. Bees use
the pollen from local plants and eventually it ends
up in your honey.
Raw honey is also a natural antiseptic.
Raw honey contains antimicrobial agents, which prevents
infections by killing the bacteria in and around your
wounds. Many types of bacteria can’t survive in
honey, so wounds heal, swelling eases, and tissue can
grow back. |
